International and Comparative Law Research Center is the organizer of the International Law in the XXI century Award for the best long paper on public international law

The long paper and other necessary materials must be submitted by 11 March 2019.
The Center's library is ready to assist the participants by providing access to the necessary publications.


The winner is selected by the Council of the Award, consisting of international law practitioners and scholars.
In the assessment of papers, the Council of the Award takes into account, in particular, the following factors: the depth of research, the paper’s contribution to the analysis of the topic, the practical relevance of the conclusions, the quality of the analysis of the law, demonstrated familiarity with the existing knowledge and academic discourse on the subject, the logic and clarity of presentation and the quality of the argument presented to substantiate of the advanced propositions.

Announcement of the results

The results will be announced no later than 30 June 2019, if not specified otherwise according to the Regulations on the competition
