In 2006, Ekaterina graduated from the Law Faculty of the State University – Higher School of Economics with honors. Since 2006, she has been working in the Presidential State-Legal Directorate. In 2014, she was appointed to the position of Adviser to the President of the Federal Notary Chamber on Legislative Work. In 2015, she joined the State Corporation Deposit Insurance Agency as Deputy Director of the Department of Public Relations In 2016, she took the position of General Director of the International and Comparative Law Research Center. In November 2017, she assumed the duties of the Acting Director of the Department for Financial and Bank Operations and Investment Development of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. In February 2018, she was appointed Director of the Department for Financial and Bank Operations and Investment Development of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. From February 2019 to March 2020, she was Director of the Department of Regulatory Policy of the Government of the Russian Federation. From April 2020 to April 2021, she served as Director of the Department of International Law and Cooperation of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Since April 2021 — General Director of the International and Comparative Law Research Center. Ph.D. in Law.

In 2003 Sofia graduated from the Law Faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. From 2003 to 2018 she worked on international law matters (law of treaties, law of the sea etc.) in the diplomatic service – at the Foreign Ministry and the Russian Embassy in the Netherlands, and later on – with the Ivanyan and Partners Law Firm. For several years she was assistant to member of the International Law Commission Roman Kolodkin, during his work in the ILC. Prior to coming to the ICLRC, Sofia worked with the Center as an expert, and in 2021 she joined the team as head of Public International Law.

In 2019-2022, Anton Tsvetov supervised the work with the organizations of the UN and the Group of Twenty in the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. He was engaged in negotiations on sustainable development and climate change issues, including the issue of carbon markets (Art. 6 of the Paris Agreement). He also worked on the presentation of the first Russian Voluntary National Review of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in the UN. Prior to joining the civil service, Anton worked in research centers, working out policy recommendations in the field of international relations and global development, specifically in the Center of Strategic Research (CSR) and in the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC). He is the author of more than 100 publications in Russian and foreign scientific journals, as well as in analytical media and mass media. An alumnus of international leadership development programs in Germany, India and the US.
