Ays Lidzhanova has extensive experience in representing clients in complex multijurisdictional disputes, international commercial arbitration, and at all levels of Russian courts. Her projects have been featured in The Lawyer Top 10 Cases and are widely publicised due to the full range of legal issues raised and their precedent-setting claim value. Ays is recognised by Best Lawyers for her work in litigation, arbitration and mediation as well as insolvency and reorganization. Ays graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University Law School – Russia’s premiere law school – where she is currently a PhD candidate writing a thesis on cross-border insolvency. Ays has studied international disputes at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law (USA) as a fellow of The Brooks Nanda Russian Law Fellows Program. Ays is a member of the International Insolvency Institute NextGen Program, Asset Recovery NextGen, and Thought Leaders for FIRE (Fraud. Insolvency. Recovery. Enforcement.). Being an active member of the professional community, Ays regularly speaks at international and domestic conferences and conducts legal trainings and webinars.
