Graduated from the Law Faculty of the Novosibirsk National Research University (cum laude) and PhD courses at MGIMO University, the Department of International Law. Candidate of Legal Sciences.

In 2016-2024, Aleksey worked in the strategic department of one of the largest Russian airports. In this position, he consulted top management on air law issues and was engaged in strategic planning of legal support department. He was also the author of the company's climate strategy.

In the spring of 2024, Aleksey joined the team of the International and Comparative Law Research Center.

He has experience in teaching and research. The results of his research have been published in leading Russian juridical journals: International Justice, Russian Law Journal, etc. He is the winner of the competition for the best publication in the Russian Law Journal (Rossijskij yuridicheskij zhurnal) for 2017.
