Ms. Ji Xiaoxue is Senior Legal Officer and Head of Negotiation and Research Division at the International Organization for Mediation (IOMed) Preparatory Office. She joined the IOMed Preparatory Office in February 2023, upon its establishment, and has since been responsible for organization and coordinating the negotiations of the IOMed Convention as well as for the drafting and development of the IOMed internal rules.

Previously, she worked at the Department of Treaty and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, engaging extensively in public international law affairs, including the law of treaties, dispute resolution, United Nations legal affairs, and diplomatic and immunity law.

Ms. Ji hold a Bachelor’s degree in law and a Master’s degree in civil and commercial law from the China University of Political Science and Law. She has published articles in the Chinese Review of International Law, including “Establishing the International Organization for Mediation: Context, Basis and Progress” and “Process and Key Issues of the Elaboration on the Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation”.
