The moot court competition “Dispute Resolution in the EAEU 2026”
In November and December 2026, the Department of International Law of the Russian State University of Justice, together with the International and Comparative Law Research Center, will hold the eighth annual International Moot Court Competition “Dispute Resolution in the Eurasian Economic Union – 2026.”
The “Dispute Resolution in the EAEU” Competition is a unique educational platform that enables future legal professionals to explore dispute resolution within the EAEU through a moot court format.
The Competition aims to foster a new generation of highly qualified international law specialists in the EAEU Member States who are capable of representing the interests of both states and members of their countries’ business communities before international judicial and dispute resolution bodies.
The 2026 competition case, “The Artificial Intelligence Case,” will address the following issues:
- the jurisdiction of the EAEU Court;
- states’ legal interest in interstate disputes;
- the impact of neural networks on the Union’s labour market;
- the status of an “interested participant in the dispute”;
- and the competence of the Eurasian Economic Commission in the field of intellectual property protection.
We invite your team to take part in the Competition. Each educational institution may register one team.
