We are hiring: Communications & SMM Manager
The International and Comparative Law Research Center (ICLRC) is seeking an employee for its Communications and Marketing Department.
Key responsibilities
- Develop the ICLRC's communication channels, including the website, social media and newsletters.
- Search for new formats and approaches, evaluate their effectiveness and propose solutions.
- Create text content, including writing website and social media posts, and adapting materials for different audiences and platforms.
- Prepare visual content, including proposing ideas for visuals, compiling selections and preparing video and photo materials for publication. This will also involve creating and shooting short videos and stories.
- Manage social networks, including planning publications, working with comments and engagement, and searching for relevant accounts to subscribe to and partner with.
- Keep the website and newsletters up to date, including updating and publishing materials with correct metadata, monitoring metrics and preparing analytics.
- Participate in communication support for events and projects, from announcements to visual materials and final publications.
Specificity
The ICLRC is a non-profit research organisation. The Center's communications are not aimed at sales but rather at the free distribution of its own materials and relevant information from partners. The aim is to involve the professional community in research and educational projects and to establish partnerships with like-minded organisations and experts.Hard skills
- Ability to write competently, accurately and interestingly both in Russian and English (no lower than B2 level) and in various formats: social media posts, newsletters, announcements.
- Proficiency in professional tools for publishing and analysing materials on websites and social media, creating and analysing mailings.
- Basic skills in working with images, photos and videos, and preparing subtitles.
- Understanding of and skills in working with analytics tools.
Soft skills
- The ability to identify structure in information and explain complex issues in a simple way.
- Taking the initiative and having a desire to understand complex issues.
- Responsibility and respect for the academic context.
- Flexibility and a creative approach.
- Visual literacy, awareness of contemporary trends and formats.

- This is a full-time position in a hybrid format (office in central Moscow, 5/2 schedule, possibility to perform some tasks remotely).
