Internship for students as part of a project on legal aspects of biodiversity conservation
About the project
The International and Comparative Law Research Center is implementing a research project on legal aspects of biodiversity conservation. The project is creating an online portal – a database of international instruments and international and national cases relevant to biodiversity issues.
We invite you to join the project team as an intern. This is an opportunity to dive into a relevant topic, to practice collecting, analysing, and preparing materials for publication on the online portal.
Who we are looking for
You are an undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in public international law.
You are passionate about international environmental law, international treaties, and court practice.
You are able to work with sources in English (your level is at least B2).
Tasks include
- Searching and analysing international legal instruments and practice related to biodiversity
- Reviewing national and international cases
- Preparing abstracts and other materials for the base
- Participating in the development of the project structure
Conditions
The internship lasts for two months and is unpaid.
The schedule is flexible; remote work is possible.
In case of successful completion of the internship, it is possible to join the project team on a reimbursable basis.
