Commentary on the Russian Civil Code Provisions on Representation and Limitation Periods Published with ICLRC Support
With the support of the International and Comparative Law Research Center, as well as a number of law firms, bar associations, and arbitral institutions, the book Representation and Limitation Periods: A Commentary on Articles 182–189 and 195–208 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, edited by Artem Karapetov, has been published (in Russian).
The commentary was prepared by a group of leading civil law experts: Anna Arkhipova, Anton Asoskov, Rostislav Bevzenko, Artem Karapetov, Andrey Pavlov, Ekaterina Papchenkova, Sergey Sarbash, Ivan Chuprunov, and Andrey Shirvindt.
The publication is intended to assist practising lawyers, judges, researchers, and students in navigating complex and contested issues arising from the application of the provisions of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation on representation and limitation periods. The authors examine current challenges in interpreting the relevant provisions, approaches developed in judicial practice, and possible ways of resolving existing legal conflicts.
