The Appellate Mechanism and ICSID: Do they have a common future?

The Investment Law and Arbitration Lab participants, Daria Zavershinskaya and Ksenia Kuritsyna, have prepared a note (in Russian) under the supervision of Anna Kozyakova.

The authors analyzed some aspects of the new appellate mechanism that UNCITRAL Working Group III is developing as part of the reform of the Investor-State Dispute Settlement System (ISDS) and how this mechanism will interact with the annulment procedure of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
