Climate Bulletin. Issue 32 (in Russian)

The International and Comparative Law Research Center and the Gazprombank’s Sustainable Development Hub present the 32nd issue of the Climate Bulletin (in Russian).

In this issue:

  • First Adjustment of the Green Deal: The European Commission proposes to simplify regulations to enhance the competitiveness of European companies, without abandoning environmental and climate goals
  • The International Maritime Organization (IMO) launches the largest climate reform in the history of shipping
  • SBTi has released a draft of the new version of its main corporate climate accountability standard — Net-Zero
  • Updated regulations on municipal solid waste (MSW) aim at deeper sorting and the development of appropriate infrastructure
  • Notes for sustainable finance: A new Morningstar report on inflows into “sustainable” funds has been published; Pakistan plans to issue its first sovereign green sukuk.

The Climate Bulletin is a regular analytical material on the most relevant topics of the green agenda, both at the international and national levels. It explores the main climate events, trends in the introduction of ESG principles, the development of climate regulation and carbon markets, biodiversity conservation issues, etc.
