The ICLRC launches two new projects
The ICLRC announces the start of two new projects: Scholarship for Young International Law Researchers and the Investment Law and Arbitration Lab. This is a unique opportunity for young international lawyers in Russia.
Both projects are united in their aim to support and motivate young scholars to pursue scientific goals and conduct a high quality research in the chosen field of international law.
The Scholarship program provides financial support for three scholars for the period of their research work (from 3 to 6 months with a possible one-time extension for not more than 3 months) on thematic directions defined by the ICLRC.
The Investment Law and Arbitration Lab aims to facilitate investor-state dispute settlement reform conducted by the UNCITRAL Working Group III. The Lab’s participants will get an excellent opportunity to engage in research supervised by experts specializing in investment law and arbitration and to contribute to the further progress of the reform.
Young lawyers and master’s students who have demonstrated in their motivation letters a deep interest in the projects’ thematic directions can apply for both projects.
Participants are welcome to use all information resources available at the Center’s Library, including databases.
